The purpose of AHANM is to stimulate popular interest in and enjoyment of Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses, to encourage, aid and conduct events for the purpose of advancing the outstanding qualities of Arabian, Half-Arabian and Anglo-Arabian horses, and to further enhance any and all interests in the Arabian breed.


AHANM was formed in 1954 and typically has about 150 adult members and 30 youth members. AHANM strives to provide activities and education for all of its members regardless of whether they are interested in showing their horses, competing in distance riding, or just enjoying their horses in non-competitive activities.
